GUY TELLS IT LIKE IT IS! WATCH YOUR BEHAVIOR IN COURT!

  1. This is interesting. One thing I have noticed is that judges will comment on your behavior in their Memorandums of Decision. So you have to be careful because that comment will stay on the permanent record about your case.

  2. One thing I have noticed if you are the victim in a high conflict divorce is that the judge will try to provoke you so that they can call a marshall and have you restrained. Also, the judge will hold you in contempt of court. And so, if you can't control your behavior in court, even in the smallest matters, the judge will make sure you pay for that lack of control.

  3. What they do is, if they don't like you as a litigant, or you are standing up for yourself too strongly even though still respectfully, they will just call in extra marshalls to stand around and be intimidating.
